That's the vocoder, I think

When you put a vocoder on the bass and don't route any modulator into it, it starts to sound wet and drippy

hey, I took the time to listen to the whole track, and I think it’s fantastic! I loved how everything flows from one part to the next, with something fresh in every section. honestly, I would have loved to be a part of it, but, you know. either way, it’s just awesome!
